The plant is beneficial in fevers accompanied by headache and as a remedy for body weakness linked with hot climate. The herb is also characterized by the positive effect it can produce on yin.

White chrysanthemum is applied to reduce arterial tension, treat liver conditions, and improve vision. Yellow chrysanthemum is effectively applied for wind-heat conditions accompanied by sore throat and fevers.

Preparation and Intake: The common dose is from 5 to 12 grams.
